Hello. Sorry I have been absent. It still is'nt over. Now that Mom can talk she is making me crazy. Sigh* I want her to be happy and comfortable and I think I have got that phase done.Seems like every day I have to sign something or give my personally okay. Going to the funeral home was not a picnic. Chipping away. ugh

I came to VOX tonight specifically to look you up. You've crossed my mind a few times lately, always when I was away from the computer, and I was getting very concerned.

I'm so glad to see you post. I'm terribly sorry that your Mom is not doing well. I keep asking myself what we would do if my Mom or Dad all of a sudden weren't their happy healthy elderly selves...and I just don't know. I know my brothers and I should sit down with them and have a big old long discussion about this stuff---but---ugh! what a thing to have to talk about.

When our parents become our children, well it's difficult . . . and sometimes we forget how much of themselves they gave up raising us. Find a few moments of time to regroup, get all the hand-ons help and support. Life is not a pot of petunias, but they are beautiful!

So happy to see you. Sory you have to go through all this stuff. Just glad to see you and hope things settle down a bit. So many people have been looking/asking where you are and you know how us guys worry.

I'm in VA with my mom now. She's driving me crazy, too. There's a lot of us going thru this, so we're here for each other. It's really better to have plans in place even though you don't want to think about it. Trust me on that.
